Pemberton Fish Finder (PFF) caters to your needs. We understand that not everyone is a fly fisher and that some people like to use bait. This is what makes PFF different from the competition. We welcome all forms of fishing, during the summer or winter, and we will have an avid guide in that form of fishing provided for you.

SUMMER FISHING IN WHISTLER & PEMBERTON, BC:

Trolling: What better way to fish some of the bigger lakes in the area. We are the only guided fishing service in the Whistler and Pemberton area to provide a chartered service. Our boats are all equipped with the necessary safety equipment and the latest of technology for fishing. Our motto is 'the bigger the lake, the bigger the fish!' It is not uncommon to catch trout in the 10lb range on each and every trip.

Fly Fishing: Pemberton has some of the best stream fishing in the world. With large hatches that happen all day long, it makes taking fish off the surface almost seem like work. Match the hatch!

Spin Fishing: Spin fishing is an easy alternative to fly fishing. It requires less time to learn and to catch fish. Spin fishing is a great way to sharpen your skills of fishing. It helps to teach you how to read water and it also makes it fairly easy to work the waters without having to learn the tricky methods of the fly cast. Spin Fishing is great for the whole family, especially if you have children.

Bait Fishing: Some people love to sit over a bobber and wait for it to disappear, this can be an effective way of fishing some days. When all else fails, bait doesn't.

Salmon Fishing: Picture yourself in an National geographic documentary, you look to your left and there are Bald Eagles feeding on a dead salmon carcass. You now look forward into the river and the river is so full of salmon it appears that you could walk across them. This is what the Salmon runs are like in the Pemberton and surrounding areas. Now put a fishing rod in your hands and feel the burn of a 40lb chinook salmon as it screams line off of your reel. In the Pemberton area we get most of the salmon runs including: sockeye, chinook, coho, pink and chum salmon. The only salmon that we don't have are Atlantic salmon. Salmon are in the streams from May through December. Tight lines!

White Sturgeon: This is the largest freshwater fish in the world. This enormous fish will surprise you with its ability to thrust itself out of the water. Sturgeon have been known to tail walk on the water and that is quite the sight - especially when they are 6 feet in length or larger! Sturgeon are known as the poor mans marlin!
